It is the dream of many children to become racing drivers. New Zealand appears
to be the breading ground for motor racing Icons such as Scott Dixon (three
times Indy car champ), Greg Murphy (Winner of Bathurst) and Chris Pither of
Palmerston North is the world’s youngest motor racing driver. All of these
started out as kiwi children racing Go-Karts.
Kids Parties can be booked for sessions and have exclusive use of our track
and facilities, which include video games, air hockey, and BBQ. Confectionery
and drinks available.
Trained Daytona staff provides full instructions and appropriate race wear is
provided, i.e. helmets, gloves and race suits. Children must wear enclosed
shoes. Once our instructor is satisfied that the children can operate
the controls (two peddles constructing of the brake and accelerator) they are
off into their race session.
