DAYTONA TEAMS RACING PROGRAMMES FOR BUSINESS SOCIAL CLUBS OR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS

Daytona 100 (Each driver completes approx 30 LAPS of Racing)
12 to 40 drivers
Each team driver will receive a 5-lap practice session.
From 2 up to 5 drivers per team.
Up to 8 teams racing at one time.
Teams should preferably be organized into even numbers.
Each driver will do 3 relay drives of ten laps.
Racing is completed when the slowest team completes the required laps.
Computerized lap score print out.
Certificates to the winning drivers.
Examples only:
12 Drivers (6 teams of 2) 60 lap race
21 Drivers (7 teams of 3) 90 lap race
40 Drivers (8 teams of 5) 150 lap race

Daytona 150 (Each driver completes 40 laps of racing)
Same as above except each driver gets 4 relay drives of 10 laps.
Examples only:
12 Drivers (6 teams of 2) 80 lap race
21 Drivers (7 teams of 3) 120 lap race
40 Drivers (8 teams of 5) 200 lap race

Daytona Teams and Pursuits (Teams Racing as Above PLUS Pursuit Racing)
Two Teams (all drivers) on the track at one time.
Team A starts from one side of the track while Team B starts from the opposite side.
The race is won when the fastest driver of one team catches the other team’s slowest driver
Or
Whichever team is the closest at the completion of ten laps.

DAYTONA 150 PLUS PURSUITS

Daytona JRF Racing
14 to 24 Drivers.
All Drivers split into two groups.
First Group completes a warm-up and one race. Second Group completes a warm-up and one race.
Groups are then split in half with top fastest drivers going into the Fastest Drivers Final and slowest drivers going into Alternate Drivers Final.
Winner's from both Finals are finalized by placing's not by fastest lap time.
Examples:
Two Groups of Ten People, Group A and Group B.
The Top Five Fastest Drivers from Group A race The Top Fastest from Group B in the Fastest Drivers Final.
The Bottom Five Slowest Drivers from Group A race The Bottom Slowest from Group B in the Alternate Drivers Final.

Health & Safety Policy

It is the fundamental requirement of Daytona Indoor Raceway Ltd that the Health and Safety of all Customers participating or otherwise, and all staff be treated equally to other operational requirements as an integral part of running our business.

It is the responsibility of ALL employees to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries by eliminating, isolating or minimizing hazards that may cause personal or participant’s injury, occupational illness or property damage.

Daytona Indoor Raceway Ltd will provide a Healthy and Safe environment for participating customers, visitors, contractors and staff. We will comply with legislation, codes of practice and industry standards and establish Safe Systems of Practice/Work’ for all activities, as laid down in the Health & Safety Manual.

All Supervisors, Managers and contractors are accountable for Health and Safety performance within their work area.
Responsibilities include: A commitment to the accurate reporting and recording of all Health & Safety data, high standards of customer safety, housekeeping and hygiene, effective hazard management, competency training, accident reporting and emergency response.

We will consult with and encourage the full participation of all employees in all aspects of implementing and continuously improving our Health & Safety Performance.  All employees will be involved in setting H&S standards and the internal auditing of Workplace Safety Management Practices.  I expect everyone to accept the challenge of making our organization a Healthy and Safe place for Participating Customers, visitors Staff and Contractors.

Risk Management Strategies for:
1. Customers: All staff is trained regarding operating procedures to ensure the Health and Safety of all Participating Customers and Visitors.
2. Environment: Fire and earthquake procedures and training practiced.
3. Equipment: Kart maintenance records, procedures, Occupational Safety & Health licenses and Staff training maintained and recorded.
4. Emergency: All Staff are trained in first aid and hold current certificates.  A first aid kit is available and OSH notification systems current.

We are committed to achieving high standards of Health & Safety Management and minimizing risk in all areas of our operation.

The Company Health & Safety Manual and procedures spell out specific responsibilities for all employees and details of required actions and activities. This Health & Safety Policy will be reviewed annually.

Legal Requirements
Indoor Go-Karting Centre

It is the fundamental requirement of Daytona Indoor Raceway Ltd that the following Government Authority Regulations, licenses and standards are achieved and kept current in order to operate an Indoor Go-Kart Facility:
1. Department of Labour Certificate of Registration to be issued by the Inspector of Machinery
2. Engineers Certificate of Examination of Amusement Devices.  To be issued by a registered engineer under the Engineers Registration Act 1924 holding a current practicing Certificate.
3. Permit to Operate an Amusement Device issued by the Palmerston North City Council.

Daytona Indoor Raceway Ltd has achieved these requirements and all Certificates and licenses are continuously kept Current.

Daytona Indoor Raceway has been operating for 12 years and at the outset Karen and Stephen’s objectives were to bring to the public a professional and up market entertainment facility that was second to none.  Their Health & Safety standards and operating procedures have been carried out keeping in mind the importance of both the customer and staff.
